Had me stumped at the time this one. Didn't appear in any of the field guides, and turned out to be an as yet undescribed (albeit known about) species. Still not altogether sure which of the two scientific names proposed is or will be the official one.

What a great find for you James... and a super picture too.

As I don't know the story or ramifications round this bird, I've asked for help from the more knowledgeable Opus Editors, as I wouldn''t like this picture to get lost in the bowels of the Gallery LOL . I'll save it to my Favourites for now.
