Thanks to you both, very fortunate photo, really should have had his mate as well but to busy trying to get video of them, they jumped in to undergrowth went past below me and as was watching a swan on edge of reeds, it had come back along path and was sitting five feet away from me.
 
great shot ,i saw one myself a week ago on top of arbroath cliffs, it was jumping about roughly 6 feet away from the path,all the walkers ignored it,i have a t2i myself and find going from pics to vid a bit risky especially if the subject might suddenly move,i have a 100-400 on my camera and it takes a few secs to focus on the subject but when it does the results are excellent
 
Thanks, I unfortunately had the converter on also as I was trying to get photo of LTT in the bushes and not looking at ground, with it on it hunts quite a bit so slows your focusing. Ok I was being greedy trying to get video, should have stayed on it and got it's mate as well.
