Updated Today at 07:55 by NicoleB
This little Beauty was giving me a flight show last Friday on the Golf course.

It took me a while to find him in my books and my gallery.
But I knew I had seen him (and IDed him) before.

It amazes me, how far I did come in identifying...

From Listening To Nature

Posted Today at 00:31 by Francis Duggan
From listening to Nature great insights we gain
The crickets are singing to tell us of rain
The sky clouded over at gloam of the day
And from us rain cannot be too far away
Nature from us many of her secrets do hide
And to look into her soul great scientists have tried
But of her best kept secrets they never will know
Our wonder of Nature it only does grow
Her billions of insects that crawl, hop and fly
Her many species of animals and...

Common Bronzewing

Posted Today at 00:27 by Francis Duggan

And...

The warm Summer days the freshening evening breeze
The butterflies at play around the flowering trees
The cool days of the Fall when deciduous leaves are turning brown
And drifting to the ground in the parkland of the Town,
Until the day I die I will sing Nature's praise
The marvels of her World never ceases to amaze
I will sing Nature's praise I...

The Undulating Fields Of England

Posted Today at 00:19 by Francis Duggan
As beautiful a scenery as there is to be seen
The undulating fields of England so lush looking and green
The hawthorn hedgerows snow white in their blossoms of the May
Where the old brook from the high ground to the river winds it's way.

Above the undulating fields of England in Spring the skylark fly
To welcome in the dawning as it creeps across the sky
And in the leafy woodlets nesting birds sing all the day
When wildflowers are in the old...
