The other day

Thanks :)
I've tried to find them again, but I guess they went back into our Zoo area (yes, the manager here has a private Zoo....don't ask....) to hide there.

The Days Of Burning Of Fossil Fuels

Well put.
I doubt though that humans will overcome their greed.
We will use the alternatives for oil and such only when the resources will be depleted.
But maybe Mother nature took her revenge on us before that.
I guess it will be the latter.

Grin,I'll be thinking of you next time I stroll along the beach and get mad about everything starting so late here when it's already blazing hot again.
That might cool my temper down
Glad you are prepared for winter now!

Think of us in the UK when you are cooling down in the pool with the air temperature of 26c, Nicole!
It has heaved it down with rain here this afternoon! Fortunately I have short hair or else the rain would have ruined my new hairstyle this afternoon!
Found the rest of my winter gear so I am prepared for all weathers now.

I am looking forward to reading about more of your local wildlife!
Enjoy your sunshine!

I have found a pair of gloves!

I wish it would warm up a little here, Nicola! Temperatures have ranged between 5-11c this week, much colder temperatures to come yet though! I had better find me scarf and hat out now!

Hope your weather cools as forecast on Friday!

What a beautiful trip!
That rabbit is so cute.
And the King fisher is awesome! They never sit still for me!

I guess one good thing during our times in Hungary is, that we always have to have either the winter or the summer clothes in storage. Means that we always have things at hand

Here, well,it's getting cooler. Finally. Friday the forecast is 26 Celsius.

Thanks, Pam :)!
I saw this Beauty - or his friends out of the corner of my eye a few times.
And yesterday I was sitting on the back porch and was waiting :)

The pic is heavily cropped, but hey, it's proof at least :)

A small rant about introduced species

The US have a similar problem with the European Starling and House Sparrow both introduced by settlers wishing to feel at home but neither native to the US but accepted as such
