The Forest Wagtail

Posted Monday 26th October 2009 at 19:53 by wisepearl
On 26th April the day I spotted the Forest Wagtail after 2 years on it's migratory pitstop. I was excited to register, log on an announce details about the visitor.

17th October. Now, almost 6 months later. I missed it but my family my wife and son spotted a couple of Forest Wagtails... on their return journey.

Happy to note we have a couple of them now... I wonder where they nest... Here in the Western Ghats of India or in some far away land?

Do the Forest Wagtails of the Indian Sub-continent travel past the Himalayas or do they nest in the Himalayas?

Answers welcome...

I would say that you would be better putting a query in the main forums as the blogs are not really read by as many so you may never find out the answer in here.

It might be worth checking this site out which is a BF members [Sumit K Sen] and it might give you some information.
