There was an unusual break in the flooding this afternoon, so I went up Stainback Highway to visit the wet forest. I've been itching to return for the last two weeks so I can to identify some native mints I found in the rich native forest off of Road R. The stenogyne there have a variety of leaf shapes, and I've been trying to puzzle out whether they're different species, or just normal variation.
