Current Taxonomy
This race (ultramarinus) treated as Cyanistes teneriffae ultramarinus by both the latest Sibley-Monroe 2003 and the Clement's 5°Ed.-updated 2004. The Howard & Moore °Ed. 2003 - updated 2004 treats this as Parus caeruleus ultramarinus.

North african blue Tit
The north african blue Tit Parus ultramrinus occur between sea level to the 2100 m in the Atals montain range.Some vagrant birds in winter can easly reach the latitude of 28° in southern contry oasis.
