    Kowa Binoculars 8x25 BD25-10GR

Anyone have experience / opinions on the: Kowa Binoculars 8x25 BD25-10GR? I'm thinking of purchasing a compact set for my car and work desk for casual viewing for when I don't want to lug the Swaro EL 10x42s around. Any other goo dmodels other than the Kowas? I'm willing to spend $250-$350. Thanks!

    Raptor Littleton Colorado USA

Thanks for the insight. The fact that is was just standing in the open field without moving seems indicative behavior as well. Ferruginous!

    Raptor Littleton Colorado USA

Poor picture, but spotted this raptor sitting in a prairie dog field. The beak was too large for a hawk. Was thinking Juvenile Eagle? Any thoughts? Breast was white and neck was spotted/streaks. Huge yellow eye. Looked like legs where covered in white feathers also.

    Swarovision Question

This may be a dumb questions, but: Is the Swarovski EL 10X42 Swarovision Binocular with Manufacturer Item Number: 34210 the same and most current model as the Swarovski EL 10x42 WB listed on Swarovski website? Are these the same binocular?

Nikon Monarch 7 vs. Nikon Monarch HG

Not to beat a dead horse here, but I currently own a pair of Nikon Monarch 7 10x42's and am tempted to upgrade to Monarch HG 10x42's. Assuming I can maybe get $200 for my used (very nice condition) Monarch 7's - Is it really worth the expenditure for the upgrade? I'm happy with the Monarch 7's...
