    Hi All Found this tiny criter on a small bridge. With short sunny spells, the recycled plastic material used to make the bridge had heated up and this little fella was enjoying the warmth. I think it is a Pholidoptera griseoaptera (Dark Bush-cricket). Though I could easily be wromg. Thanks...

    Hi All Although I was expecting something more exiting (considering the locale), but I think this "huge" bumblebee is - Bombus hortorum (Garden bumblebee). Or maybe not? Is the elongated face diagnostic? Size wise, the flower is a foxglove, 5ft high an dthe flowers were fully matured, so...
