    Oxfordshire birding

    Hiya Gareth, Had a good family day at the Feed The Birds event. Kids loved it. Lots of very noisey children having a good time discovering nature. Meant the birds were few and far between. Saw lots of Stonechat up close. I enjoyed lettting other kids view Shoveler through my scope. Didn't get...

    I'm going to take the children to this event at Otmoor in half term week. http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guide/o/otmoor/events.asp?id=tcm:9-167591 Not been to Otmoor before. Bit of a lapsed birder at the moment and feeling rather rusty. What's Otmoor like at the moment?
