    Nikon 8x32E2 for a quick walk down by the river, just looking at random stuff. Overcast, but nice bright,crisp views. Peter

    Nice and summery today, decided to try out a pair of bino bandit on the “ugly one” (7x35 Rangemaster) to look at gulls and other birds flying across the blue sky, lovely bright views. Looks like I need to buy yet another pair of bandits! Peter

    Testing a few today, Nikon 8x30E2, swift Audubon 8.5x44 and APM10x50ED, watching some rose ringer parakeet in a nearby birch tree. The APM provided a brighter image with lots of sharp detail, the Nikon and Audubon a bit dimmer in comparison. All are nearly colour free, apart from a tiny bit if...

    Took the old tasco124 wide angle 7x50 into the park last night to watch barn owls in the dusk, nice and bright views. Peter
