    teleconverter for Nikon 70-300 VR????

    Nikon recommends not using a teleconverter with the 70-300 VR lense, but I find myself wanting more. And my old Tokina 70-300 with 2x converter just doesn;t take as clear pictures. ANyone used converters with the VR lenses? if so, which work? thanks y'all.
