Bliss
We had a wonderful session on my Up the Hill patch a couple of weeks ago. Not just one but two pairs of Wheatears were just arrived and this Eurasian Skylark spent ages enjoying a dust bath! I really liked this pose I captured.

Saturday Fun

Sorry to be so late with this, as I was half way through it when we got the devastating news that a dead Osprey had been found in the Dunkeld area with shot gun pellets in him. The male bird from Loch of the Lowes went missing last Sunday when he set off to get a fish from one of his hunting places. The female has been trying to guard her three eggs against a couple of intruding males and corvids.

My news is that the blood tests didn't throw up anything, so.... don't know what's causing the pain, which isn't getting any better.

Lol, he was getting down and dirty! I enjoy watching birds dust bath. Great pose, focus, colors, detail, and setting. Top-notch D! TFS!

great photo, Delia, many tfs!!
Terrible news about the osprey, I thought these kind of things only happened in this part of the world, not in the UK.
Hope your back pain will get over, take care.
