New Birder, starting with Merlin App and a set of Zeiss SFL 8x40, SF 10x42 and looking for a set of maybe SF 8x30 or 10x30’s. Also use a Kowa TSN-88a Spotter for digiscopping and recording the Birds and wildlife.

You're a birder? You only need 1 pair of binoculars. If someone is telling you otherwise, then they are most likely a binocular salesman.

And you definitely don't need 3 pairs and a scope. That many different pairs of binoculars will actually make you a worse birder.

Remember I do a lot with Guns, so one set of Bino's is for me, one set is for My wife, and the other I just wanted to see what would be the difference in 10x42 vs 8x32 for day and sunrise/sunset time of day. Spotting scope is for Digiscoping as well as shooting rifles. I understand your point, if they all were just for me, and if they were all for just one purpose. Thanks for the input.
Can hear a blackcap singing at the end of the garden, but I've still not seen it yet, this one i saw in spain last year, hopefully ill get a better picture this year

Made a cute landing page for all my raptor photos 😁

Lots of crows attacking my local raptors, unfortunately they had stopped by the time I got close enough to take photos. This photo was the same location last year...

Hi Sam. I hope that you don't mind me contacting you, and that you actually see this, as it looks like you're not a regular on birdforum. I saw that you were interested in finding a birding guide in San Jose del Guaviare. Did you have any luck and if so do you have any contact info or recommendations.

Best wishes
