Zen-Ray 7X36 ED2 Returns! (1 Viewer)

The most important question of all for me: Does the new ED2 carry the no fault lifetime warranty that the ED3 series does? The website seems to indicate that it would not.

Direct quote from ZR website:

"Zen-Ray guarantees your product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. The warranty is fully transferable. As long as you are the current owner of the above Zen-Ray products, you are covered by our warranty."

This was the same warranty carried by all of the ZEN ED series glass. I would not be too concerned that ZR won't handle any and all warranty issues for the new 7x36 the same way they handle everything. ;)

I was curious about their most premium warranty, the No-Fault.

"Zen-Ray PRIME HD, ZEN ED3 Binoculars and ZEN ED2 spotting scopes are covered by our Signature No-Fault Lifetime Warranty

At Zen-Ray Optics, we stay behind every product we deliver to you. Through our rigorous Q/A process, we hope you never have to use our warranty service. But when you do, we want you to know that we are here, ready to help. If your PRIME HD, ZEN ED3 Binoculars or ZEN ED2 spotting scope requires service or repair, Zen-Ray will repair or replace it (even if it was your fault) for just $10, plus return shipping and handling."
