Sounds interesting and I know Zeiss make use of optical technologies in all kinds of ways as well as sports optics. They have a microscopy business, one doing medical tech, another in the semi-conductor sector, as well as one making kit for industrial measuring. I have always been fascinated by light because without it there would be no life on earth but the different ways it can be used and manipulated are fascinating.
