Hi,

I've posted this on the Info Wanted thread, but I thought I'd put it here too.

I'm heading to Cortona (Tuscany/ Umbria border) for the last week of August.

I'm not too far off Lago Trasimeno and Lago di Montepulciano, both of which I have managed to find a little info about. However, I'd greatly appreciate any information about any good spots/ walks around the town of Cortona itself and, in particular, what birds I should keeping an extra eye/ ear out for in the area.

Finally, are there any other gems within reasonably close driving distance worth checking out?

Many thanks in advance.

Daniel. :t:
