Territorial fight- Magpie and Crow. Dublin, Ireland (1 Viewer)

Was intrigued to watch a 5 or 6 minute skirmish between the Crow and Magpie this morning - it was taking place over very a large tree so maybe a fight over nesting rights?

Just wondering if it can be established from the photo f this is a Hooded Crow?

More specifically - as colours/contrasts can be disguised/altered by light/shade and by boundaries between feather-tracts - you can see the contrast between the black chest-shield and the grey lower breast/fore-flank.
