Hi all

Got an email from East Riding Council to say that they have refused planning permission for the expansion/relocation of the caravan park. This is great news, especially given all the hard work my fellow Friends of Spurn have carried out in the area.

Now, we just need to defeat the idiotic plans of the YWT with regards their new visitor centre. There are only a few days left to object to the council about this. Therefore can I kindly encourage you to visit the link below to obtain further information about the plans and make a formal objection yourself if you consider it appropriate. Please also check out www.spurnbirdobservatory.co.uk for info.

If you have trouble with the link do a search on the council website https://newplanningaccess.eastriding.gov.uk/newplanningaccess/ with the code 15/03947/PLF you should find it Kind regards John
