Siberian Cranes in Japan in winter 2017/2018 (1 Viewer)

I will be visiting Japan and would welcome any information about long staying or gettable individuals this winter - also later in the season in 2018. It may be my chance to meet this beautiful species.

join the kantori news group, they are on facebook as well as yahoo now.
i don't recall seeing any reports so far this autumn/winter but there was a trio(?) last winter somewhere, ibaraki prefecture i think.

Jurek,

when you wont see Siberian cranes, why you don't go to China to Poyang hu.
I was there, February last year, hundreds of birds and I was a very close to them.
