RSPB SANDWELLVALLEY IS A UNIQUE SITE FOR ALL TYPES OF WILDLIFE ESPECIALLY BIRDS. I HAVE RECENTLY SEEN BLACKTAILED GODWIT,PECTORAL SANDPIPER, 3 BUZZARDS AND SPOTTED FLYCATCHER AMONG LOADS OF OTHER BIRDS . I AM A FREQUENT BIRDER THERE AND THE WHOLE OF SANDWELL VALLEY COUNTRY PARK IS GREAT WHATEVER YOUR WILDLIFE INTEREST IS. THE PLACE IS BRILL. I FOUND THE BIRD FORUM AT THE BIRD FAIR AND IT IS EXCELLENT . FROMSUE WEBSTER

Hello Sue

I was born in Walsall but now live in Derbyshire. I 've never been to Sandwell Valley but do keep meaning to so I'll have to get myself down there. I might just go down with the family soon before the summer's out. Is it pushchair friendly?

I was there on Friday last week for the Pectoral Sandpiper. I was the only one there and got excellent views!

Shame there are no hides though especially as it was raining !
