Scouse Scoper
Showing at Burton Mere yesterday, along with all the usual suspects, a Sparrowhawk causing a right old flap amongst the hundred or so Lapwings, a distant Little Stint on the main scrape and a Water Rail which paraded across the grass right in front of the watching gallery in the visitor centre. Goldfinches galore on the feeders and a flock of around 60 Fieldfares flew over the Inner Marsh Farm hide to gather in the trees near to the car park. Little Egret on the farthest scrape at IMF.
