Red-legged partridges in Redditch (3 Viewers)

wmtlynx

Steven Peters
Have noticed the past few days there has been a pair of what appear to be red-legged partridges on Matchborough Way, near the Arrow Vale Social Club. I've seen them several times this week at quite close range and would like to hear from anyone else who has spotted them. These appear to be genuine red-legs as there is distinct spotted markings on their bibs, which my book says are absent from hybrids.

Any more info would be appreciated. Apologies for not being able to get a photograph - been driving a bus every time I've seen them!
