It doesn't altogether look as streamlined or neat as any pond slider. I know nothing about reptiles though, just thought I could give an opinion based only on what I see in the photo (plus no obvious streaking)

It doesn't really look like any I've seen... but I'm pretty sure its the only turtle that occurs in the area.

Here's a pic from one I spotted in London.

ObsIdentify has it as European pond terrapin/turtle. Most of France is in its range but no idea how common it is. I’ve only seen it in Spain

the first one is an European Pond Turtle, Emys orbicularis for sure! the 2nd one looks like an American turtle, maybe Trachemys s. scipta
Yes the second one as in certainly an American slider, it was taken in pond close to a retail park… thanks a European pond turtle is awesome!
