After battling road closures between Port de Pollença and Alcibiades,I eventually ended up on the road to Alcudia via motorway and main road and was saddened to see dead barn owl at the side of the road.
First stop Depuradora, lots of swallows, kestrel, marsh harrier, ducks and waders sheltering from wind too far from platform, also four peacocks!
On to S’Albufera, at Sa Roca, stonechat, wheatear, osprey on usual dead tree, glossy ibis, green and redshanks, common sandpipers, couple of herons, yellow legged and black headed gulls, snipe, kestrel and patrolling marsh harrier, crossbill in pines at info centre.
