Hi
I live in Warrington Cheshire and I'm looking for some knowledgeable birdwatcher in my area that may be willing to go bird watching with me! I have a car and don't mind driving to sites in return for tapping the knowledge when trying to identify birds. I'm only looking for a couple of hours every now and again.
If anyone is interested then please contact me.
Thanks
Mark

I do hope you got a response for this post by PM. It'd be a sad reflection on birders if you didn't. I have a good excuse living many hundreds of miles away.

Hi Mark, like steve saiod, I hope you have had some replies to your post, like steve I am miles away, but if you ever get over to north yorkshire give me a shout, I would willingly take you to some of my spots, inc kites. MC

Keep a look out for a NW Meet, Jaff usually starts the thread. Get along to the meet and you'll find a bunch of people with mixed ability but all of them friendly and helpful.

Hi
I used to live in Cheshire and went to some of the indoor meetings of CAWOS - the Cheshire and Wirral Ornithological Society. They were a nice bunch and had field meetings that I'm sure you be able to join. If you put their society name into a search engine I'm sure you'd get a contact name for membership and events. You'd get (I hope) a friendly and knowledgable crowd to get you going. Cheshire's a great county for birding so I hope you get some help.
Chris
