My Hungarian birding day (1 Viewer)

Went for a walk over the hillsides just outside Matrafured yesterday and saw a nice selection of birds:

Waxwing - 20
Goldfinch - 15
Brambling - 12
Corn Bunting - 8
Greenfinch - 8
Chaffinch - 6
Bullfinch - 12
Blackbird
Mistle Thrush - 3
Yellowhammer - 6
Jay - 4
Eastern Imperial Eagle - heard calling, but not seen
Great Spotted Woodpecker
White-backed Woodpecker
Great Tit
Marsh Tit
Blue Tit
Tree Sparrow - 10
Nuthatch

19 species. Many of the finches and buntings were in mixed flocks.

No Hawfinches or Long-tailed Tits (northern) seen yesterday, but they're here !!
