Hi there,
We are temporarely based in Southern Spain so we decided to go to Morocco for a few weeks. Because it was a very spontaneous decision we didn't prepare much but we did buy the guide and had a look on the internet and the posts here (thanks for the Soleil Bleu-warning by the way, we were planning to go there!!).
Anyway, We'd like to do more or less this route: Chefchaouen, Azrou and then down south to Boulmane and back via Agadir/Marakesh.
We are looking for the sort of hotels/auberges from which you can walk straight into the countryside, not too expensive and preferably with a cold beer :eat: (for the after-birding reward). The sort of hotel where you hear the owls calling at night... We do not have our own transport so this might complicate things a little but buses and taxis abound I've read...
Maybe someone has a good tip? Do heavenly places like this exist in Marocco?
p.s. I already made a note of the other hotel-info on the Marocco-thread, thanks!
