Magpies in Dundee (1 Viewer)

Over the near two decades I have lived in Angus I have seen odd ones, but never regular except in Forfar, when I worked in Aberdeen I used to see them most days, odd how they were distributed really.

The suggestion was persecution by farmers and gamekeepers was the reason for the large gap in distribution, with birds to the south in Lothian and into southern Fife, to the west somewhere out beyond Perth and towards Glasgow and to the north around Aberdeen but with that large mostly empty window in the middle which is now filling back up again.
