After scouring various sites for reports, I now have quite a clear picture of where I should be going - namely: Büyük Çamlıca (other spots are out of the question, because I'll be relying on public transport/taxis) for raptor migration and the parks for passerines.
As it is not going to be a birding-only holiday, I'd appreciate some advice on good locations near tourist hotspots.
Finally, I'm particularly interested in reliable sites for Eleonora's Falcon in the vicinity of Istanbul.
