So, I found a robin egg on the side of the road (I'm thinking it's an American robin because, yknow, america) but it has a small crack in the shell that I have no idea when it got here (probably today, I have bad control over my strength and might have accidentally hit it). I feel terrible, yes, but I just wanna know if this will stop it from hatching or if it's okay. The internet says it ruins the chances, and I'm feeling a bit screamish, so. I just need help with that, thanks.

Hi strangerisorange and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. A cracked egg is no longer viable. But the egg was unlikely to hatch anyway, there's no knowing how long it was out of the nest
