Hello there and happy Tuesday! I knew I had doves in my garage a few weeks ago while my son was working on his car, I knew they were looking for a place to nest, I didn't think anything of it because I thought they opted for the tree outside my garage. Now fast forward to today when my son left for work and left the garage open, then I was getting ready to leave for work as well and noticed a dove flew out of my garage with a twig in beak. I went and got my ladder to discovered a momma dove sitting on one egg and just the beginning of a nest. I left the garage open most of the day thinking they would build nest around the egg, that hasn't happened yet. I have left the garage open now that I am home. I am just wondering if there is anyway to let them stay there and keep my garage closed? I don't want them to abandon the egg. I know they nest at night, I am just concerned because they haven't finished the nest. WHAT CAN I DO?? Katz from California
