Hi All,
I've been researching binoculars, spotting scopes, and or camera's for an upcoming Alaska cruise recently and let me just say y'all are a wealth of knowledge. It's refreshing to be able to research something and see people ask questions without having to go to Facebook. Once I get a little more into this activity hopefully I can pay it forward and help out as well. I'm just now starting out (bird / nature watching that is), and not exactly sure which direction (viewing, photos, digi-scoping, video) I'm headed in to be honest. The wife and I are imports to Florida, as we moved to Panama City about 3 years ago from southern Indiana. Our house immediately flooded (tropical storm Sally), and now that we are finally moved back in and looking to get out, and get around more. The beaches and the shorelines nearby seem to offer quite a diverse group of adversaries to try and identify. Plus there is a lot to "see", now that our eyes have been opened.
