It's been 4 years since we met Luis Ku at the Jardin Botanial Gardens in Puerto Morelos but I think he's still around. His email once was

Ismael Navarro from Rio Largartos may now operate inn that area also. Last contact info I have for him is:

Both know their birds and speak reasonably good English. We happened to spend a full day with Ismael, who repeatedly went the extra mile for us and a couple from Austria that we were with. Luis got us halfway through the Botanical Gardens went a downpour turned our walk into a run. He refused to take any payment.
