Fuji s1800 camera (1 Viewer)

Hi I think this is the right place to post this. I have a Fuji s1800 camera and it takes some pretty good photos of birds. It is 18x zoom which is 28-504mm in 35mm format. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this camera and if there are any tips that you could give. I`m not that experienced in photography so any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunatly I`m like alot of folks and can`t afford a dslr, so I would like to hone my skills with this camera. Hope you can help. Thanks Vern
