We(3) stayed in the Hotel Geranios Spa, which at £330 pp for all- inclusive including flights was good value for money.
We only had one trip away from the resort so most birding was done around the resort in the mornings and evening, i missed seeing nearly all of the major birds but found the birding to be quite rewarding, just enough to be interesting.

Thanks for the report.
it is a great bird watching destination.
It is so long ago since I have been there the Hotel Elba was just being built.
Is that still on the the edge of Caleta De Fusta or have they developed further along the coast towards the Salinas?

Often thought about staying there but wondered how much has been developed since we visited.

It's still on the edge of the resort and still a nice walk to salinas

Thanks.I remember having some great walks along there.Saw a Cream -Coloured Courser along the way one day.
I thought they may have carried on developing right along the coast.
Where was your hotel situated?
Would you recommend it?We are not over fussy as long as the food and accommodation is of reasonable standard.

Hello d. and thanks for the interesting report. I will be at Fuerteventura late this month and I wonder if there is water in the main waterbodies (e.g the embalses aka the ponds). Do you have any ideas ? Thanks again
