Dear birders,

I am planning a trip last 2 weeks of august/ 1st week sept to visit some of the national parks of northern Finland (north of Oulu).

How will be the birding at this time of year. I expect the good birds to still be around but possibly silent...

Will the fall migration have started yet?

Any contact info would also be appreciated.

regards

Broady

All resident species are ofcourse possible, but since they dont sing it might be tricky to find them. Your timing is litle bit too early for masses of geese and you are a bit north for them too. If you can get near to coast it is possible to see migrating passerines going along the coast.
