Cookey birds. Lots of fun to watch. We also get Pigmy Cormorants here. I like the Shags on Skye too. Somehow goolish with their bright green eyes and bright yellow mouths.
 
Thanks Dan - never heard of the Pigmy variety. Are they resident in Austria ?

Shags are not really seen down my end of the UK and I've never been to Skye, though i'd love a trip up there
 
Don't know much about them, but this is what they look like.

They are about half the size of the regular Cormorants.
