Eregli Marshes - still in existence? (1 Viewer)

having read several Turkey trip reports that refer to the Eregli Marshes as a 'dust bowl' I just wondered if anyone could confirm that these are no longer a site to visit on a Turkey itinerary. I am off for a trip in May but clearly won't look for these if they no longer exist.

Thanks Allen

Not in my book (literally). Whether Lesser Short-toed Lark is more than one species is another question, but Turkish birds have nothing to do with cheleensis.
