The Red-necked Grebes, aka the Rulers of the Lake, have returned to Dalkarlskärret. This pair dominates everything there, chasing all the other poor birds around... guess the Slavonian Grebes won't succeed at breeding this year either.

Went to see a Hoopoe yesterday... great bird, showing splendidly. And when I got back I found a Badger just outside the house! Unusual, since I live in an apartment and the courtyard doesn't seem like a good spot for Badgers.
Today I went for a short walk before school in the local forest (well, more like a grove). First Willow Warbler was singing away, and also found a Wryneck. Haven't seen any there before. :)
