Emporers Goose In Alaska (1 Viewer)

Hell, my sister and her husband just moved to Bethel Alaska and I'm planning a trip to visit them for the fall. I have heard about the Emporers goose and would just love to get a chance to watch them in person. Does anyone have any knowledge of this goose, as for habits, feeding or migration information.
Also, where does the Emporers goose take refuge in Alaska.
I'm planning on buying either the pentax dcf sp 8x43 or a docter 8x42 for this trip and to have here in Michigan any suggestions.
