Hi there, anyone know any good sites around Emmerloord please, going to be there for the next couple of days. Any information would be appreciated.

Probably too late... but the fenlands of the Wieden and Weerribben to the east can be nice for e.g. Purple Heron, while Oostvaardersplassen a bit further afield to the southwest are internationally renowned. Breeding Cranes and Red-necked Grebes a bit more distant again (to the northeast, at Fochteloërveen and Oranje respectively).

thank you for the reply, was approx 30 kilometres from Weerribben and didn't manage to go. Did see white storks, kestrels, g-c grebes and little grebe.
Would certainly visit again, really nice place.
