On Sunday 27 October I was checking out my local patch and was lucky enough to find three migrating Dotterel on a ploughed field. On the gravel banks of the River Leine between Snipe, Wood and Green Sandpiper, Ruff, Little Ringed Plover and a Dunlin, well hidden in the undergrowth was a bobbing Jack Snipe that showed well some of the time, and just as I was about to leave a Black Stork flew in but disapeared behind a row of bushes. All in all a super 2 hours!!!.(To list all the birds would take to long)
