Bernd Heinrich's "Mind of the Raven." (Cliff Street Books. 1999. ISBN-0-06-017447-1)

EXCELLENT read. Dr. Heinrich is a professor of Biology at the University of Vermont. He raises and studies Ravens and their social behavior, then writes with an incredible style.

I have read this and really admire this man's work with ravens.. in fact we have a pal out in the state of WA that has a group of raven's that are also part of that study in co-operation with Dr. Heinrich.. and having Mountain Ravens here it is always nice to see studies on Corvids.. they are truly amazing. As is the book you suggest.
