Birding sites near Kiev, Ukraine? (2 Viewers)

I will be in Ukraine a couple of times in the next weeks and will have a little free time in Kiev ...trawled the internet for birding sites in or near the capital, but basically found nothing. I have no particular targets, rather I am simply looking for somewhere to while away the time. If no better suggestions, I will have a look around the wooded islands pretty much in the city ...I guess Collared Flycather et al should be in there.

Does anybody have any recommendations (other than to not wave Russian flags 3 )?

There are some guys from Kiev posting in the ID forum from time to time. You may try pm them. Don't recall the names, but searching for ukraine in the ID forum you should find them.
