Birding in Vancouver? (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

I am headed to Vancouver in February and wanted to know if anyone knows of any good birding spots in the area. Links are welcome, too!

Thanks,

Monte – Check out the Vancouver Trails web site. Not a birding site, but the most comprehensive list of parks and trails.

Boundary Bay Regional Park is very accessible and offers pretty good opportunities for migrating / resident shorebirds, raptors, etc. At the moment there are a dozen Bald Eagles there.

If you want to join a group for an outing, the Delta Naturalists visit different locations every week. Typically Tuesday mornings. Depending on the site and the weather they may have 10 to 30 birders venturing out.
