Birder home exchange - Japan for Bellingham, WA (1 Viewer)

Probably this should be a topic considered for its own forum (or some kind of classified ad) but ...

I live in Bellingham, Washington, USA, which is close to Vancouver, B.C. It's a lovely area for outdoor sports in general, and it's pretty good for bird watching, especially during our mild winters. I need to be in Japan for a year in September, and I thought I might ask if anyone in Kyoto or Osaka would be interested in a home exchange. (I realize this is a big shot in the dark, and there are perhaps many other ways to try to find or exchange housing, but since I'm a birder, I figured I'd ask.)

Please contact me if you happen to be interested or know someone who might be.

(I do not write or speak Japanese, but my spouse does.)

thanks! jeffborsecnik 'AT' msn.com
