I am visiting Chile in December 2005. Can anyone recommend a local birdwatching guiding company running one day tours from Santiago to the neighbouring areas.

Hi,

I was not birding in Chile.

Near Santiago is Cayon the Maypo. At the border to Argentinia are mountains El Vocan and Marmelejo ( southest sixtousender of the world ).
Nice landscape, but for birding I have no knowledge.
