Sadly it appears the weather could be having an effect on the bird population, today, whilst walking in my usual area, all within a short distance of each other, I came across the remains of a Heron, Kestrel and a Green Woodpecker.

Sounds a bit fishy to me though excuse the pun.

JonH does the local rspb warden know of these deaths might be worth giving them a ring
