Attempting to put Melksham on the map
Hi,

Stopping over in Singapore next year on my way to Oz.

Any idea what the best field guide is to take?

Thanks

Hi, yes, best guide is probably Craig Robson's Field Guide to Birds Of South-East Asia (published by new Holland). I have it and it's pretty good. Another good resource is the wildbirdSingapore Yahoo e-mail group which I am a member of, which discusses all the latest Singapore bird news. Despite being so small (or because it's so small) it really is an excellent place to birdwatch.

Thanks for the reply Reuben.

I'll take a look at the field guide.
I am staying a short walk from Fort Cannings Park so I guess that will be my early morning patch with a trip to the Botanic Gardens during the day.
Only got 2 days on the way back from Oz.

Rgds
